BOHOL
Bohol is an island province of the Philippines located in the Central Visayas region. Its capital is Tagbilaran City. It is the 10th largest island in the country, located in the heart of the Visayas. CHOCOLATE HILLS
Located in the town of Carmen, 55 kilometers from Tagbilaran City, the Chocolate Hills are undoubtedly the most famous tourist attraction in Bohol. Among the 1,268 perfectly cone-shaped hills, which abound in Central Bohol, two have been developed into a resort. Baclayon Church
One of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines is Baclayon Church, located in the town of Baclayon, six kilometers from Tagbilaran City. This ancient massive edifice still retains its century-old architectural design. Both in the external and internal portions of the church are various interesting relics and artifacts dating back to the early 16th century, which have now been placed at the Baclayon Museum.

LOBOC
Loboc is a 5th class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. It is mere 24 km away from Tagbilaran City, the provincial capital of Bohol. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 15,734 people in 2,738 households. Loboc is known for its floating restaurants along the scenic and winding Loboc River. CARMEN
Carmen is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 40,713 people in 7,379 households.There are many attractions in Carmen. BOHOL BEE FARM
The Bohol Bee Farm is a very cozy and relaxing place on Panglao Island. Owner and Chef Vicky Wallace prepares delicious meals from organically-grown vegetables on her farm--from squash muffins, vegetable lasagna to her specially-brewed coffee from roasted corn and wild berries. CASA GORORDO
Casa Gorordo was initially the home of the first Filipino Bishop of Cebu. Now it is restored and owned by the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc., this museum serves as a display of a typical Filipino home of the 19th century. FORT SAN PEDRO
Fort San Pedro, ordered built by Miguel López de Legazpi in 1565 and only finished in 1738. The fort lays claim to being the "oldest, smallest and well preserved colonial fort" in the Philippines and its name was taken from Legazpi’s flag ship San Pedro. To know more about this click here.

MAGELLAN’S CROSS
This spot was used to commemorate the cross, planted in April 14, 1521 by Ferdinand Magellan when he first set foot on Cebu. BASILICA MINORE DEL SANTO NINO
The convent of the Sto. Niño de Cebu was founded by Fr. Andres de Urdaneta on April 28, 1565 , the very day the Legazpi-Urdaneta expedition arrived in the island. On May 8 of the same year, when Legaspi and his men planned the urbanization of the city, they allotted a “place for the church and the convent of San Agustin, “where the Santo Niño image had been found.” To know more about this click here.

GUITAR FACTORY
Lapu Lapu City Mactan Island, is the home to the majority of the Guitar manufactures in Cebu. Visiting one of the many factories will enable you to actually see how guitars are made. MANILA

FORT SANTIAGO INTRAMUROS
Walk into one of the oldest Spanish stone fortresses in the country. Fort Santiago is located in the northwestern part of the Walled City. In pre-Spanish times, this was the site of Rajah Sulayman's "kuta" or fort.

MANILA CATHEDRAL
Completed in 1951, The Manila Cathedral rises majestically over the remains of five predecessors, the first of which was erected in 1581. Four of the previous constructions were destroyed by earthquakes and fires, the fifth was reduced to a bombed-out shell during the Liberation of Manila in 1945. The new Romanesque edifice incorporates stone carvings and rosette windows salvaged from the ruins and are topped by a cupola that is a perfect picture of strength, delicacy and grace.

LUNETA PARK / RIZAL PARK
Rizal Park is situated in the heart of the city of Manila, Philippines. It is at the northern end of Roxas Boulevard, overlooking Manila Bay. Rizal Park's history began in the early 1800's during the Spanish rule. While Manila's social and business activities were confined within Intramuros, a small area just south of the walls was cleared to prevent sneak attacks from the patriotic natives.

TAAL LAKE
One of the most visited tourist spots in the Philippines, this geological phenomenon is actually a volcano within a lake within a volcano. Taal is the world's smallest volcano, but do not let appearances deceive you--it can be quite deadly when it erupts. A 45-minute ride on a banca (wooden boat) will take you to the volcano; a 15-minute trek will take you to the top of the crater. An older and larger volcano is an hour away, which requires the assistance of an experienced guide.

PALAWAN

PUERTO PRINCESA
The City of Puerto Princesa the capital of Palawan, is a first class city in the Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 161,912 people in 33,306 households. It is famous for its crocodile farms, underground rivers and dive spots. The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features a spectacular limestone karst landscape with its underground river.

CROCODILE FARM
Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center (formerly Crocodile Farming Institute). It aims to preserve and conduct further research studies on endangered species of crocodiles. One of the structures is a ""hospital"" for sick and disabled crocodiles. It also intends to make good use of the raw materials derived from crocodile skin. The place also maintains a mini-zoo featuring some of Palawan's endemic animals, under the supervision and management of DENR-PAWB.

PRISON & PENAL FARM
The minimum security inmates of this prison are not locked-up but instead, live in dormitories with their families and work on one of the many agricultural projects located within the prison farm. Tourists can buy handicrafts produced by the inhabitants.

UNDERGROUND RIVER
Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is located about 50 kilometers north of the city of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. The National Park is located in the Saint Paul Mountain Range on the northern coast of the island. It is bordered by St Paul Bay to the north and the Babuyan River to the east.

MT. PINATUBO
The Mount Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano located on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, at the intersection of the borders of the provinces of Zambales, Tarlac, and Pampanga. Ancestral Pinatubo was a stratovolcano made of andesite and dacrite. Before 1991, the mountain was inconspicuous and heavily eroded. It was covered in dense forrest which supported a population of several thousand indigenous people, the Aeta, who had fled to the mountains from the lowlands when the Spanish conquered the Philippines in 1565.

Eastwood City is a 16-hectare commercial and residential development located in the Libis area of Quezon City in the Philippines. Located in a wealthy neighborhood, Greenhills Shopping Center looks somewhat run-down but, ironically, it draws in more people now than it ever did in its heyday as an upmarket shopping arcade in the 1970s. After freshening up at our respective rooms, our local and very gracious host took us out for seafood dinner at Badjao Restaurant. The Badjao Restaurant is a nipa hut structure perched on top of a body of water. The owners said that, during daytime, their restaurant is filled to the brim because of the scenery. Too bad we missed the ambience they are projecting, but we really enjoyed the freshly caught, cooked seafood the restaurant is famous for.
