Philippine Grand Tourism Campaign for North America
As the primary government agency charged with the development and marketing of travel and tourism in the country, the Philippine Department of Tourism (PDOT) spearheads The Philippine Grand Tourism Campaign for North America through “The Philippines: Explore. Experience. Return.” program.
In line with global trends in travel and tourism, the campaign was designed to invite Americans and Canadians in North America to visit our country for an enjoyable and enriching vacation. It is part of the PDOT’s marketing communication thrusts aimed to increase tourist arrivals and tourism receipts as well as to maximize the benefits of tourism to our country and our people.
Conceived and executed with the assistance of Asian Consulting and Training Group represented by Professor Tomas B. Lopez as well as Euro RSCG Manila, PDOT’s Team North America manages the campaign’s full implementation in collaboration with its overseas offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Toronto.
This campaign is the flagship program among many projects and activities which have been formulated and administered by Team North America in relation to the current Secretary of Tourism’s specific market strategy for each of the Philippines’ major target travel markets.
